Rivington & Blackrod has held an important place in this community for centuries. We are proud of our tradition, a tradition that involves passionately developing ways to unlock the learning potential that is in each and every student.

We also offer a range of enrichment activities, from local sporting opportunities in the state-of-the-art facilities at the Bolton Arena, to working with young children in o­ne of the townships in South Africa.

The school tirelessly investigates new modes of delivery for all courses and has developed a range of o­nline learning materials that can be accessed by in house students and distance learners through a web college framework. Our status as a Technology college has allowed us to push out the boundaries even further, and raise aspiration levels even higher for all of our students.
