St Mungo's

Falkirk / United Kingdom

St Mungo\'s St Mungo's High School is a six year Roman Catholic co-educational comprehensive school formed in 1953.

The school is now housed in a brand new building, which opened in 2009. The school is located on a single site and is equipped with a range of modern specialist facilities and resources.

The facilities incorporate numerous classrooms, a drama studio, an oratory, a well equipped library and Support for Learning Suite.

In addition, there is a games hall, fitness suite/gymnasium and specialist areas for technical subjects, music, home economics and art & design. The school also has extensive playing fields.

We at St Mungo's aim to develop a Catholic ethos and caring Christian community, which makes effective partnerships with the home, school and parish. We look to instil a positive work ethic and to help our pupils strive for individual improvements. We ensure that our curriculum and policies reflect experiences which promote the spiritual, physical, social, moral and intellectual development of our pupils. We aim to deliver education of the highest quality for all pupils. We encourage Christian values through good example and extend a high level of care to the whole school community. We deliver a curriculum which prepares pupils to meet the challenges of adult life. And we promote within our school a sense of dignity, worth, and respect.
