It is also a DfE designated Technology College and Leadership Partner School. The faculties of The MFG embrace new technologies to ensure that its students have the skills to equip them for life in the 21st century. The school was rated as Outstanding by Ofsted in 2008 and from 1st April 2011 became an Outstanding Academy.
