We aim to promote a high standard of scholarship, responsibility and citizenship in a supportive, international community. We implement a student-centred approach to instruction following an inquiry-based and interdisciplinary curriculum. The success of our community relies upon the teamwork, motivation and collaboration of teachers, support staff, students and parents.Our goal is to encourage all students to be critical thinkers and responsible global citizens, who are prepared to achieve the highest standards, both in their subsequent education and throughout their careers. The curriculum at ACS Cobham - featuring both the renowned International Baccalaureate Diploma and rigorous Advanced Placement courses - is designed to support a developmental, student-focused approach, where teaching for understanding and reasoning is paramount. Modern education is more than just classroom attentiveness and examinations; we want to encourage our students to get the balance right by immersing themselves in learning, sports, healthy activities, the performing arts and charity work. With over 50 nationalities represented on campus, each of us has an exceptional opportunity to develop an understanding of people from many different cultures.
