phoenix
Photo Description:
Acrylic on fibreboard 40x80 cm. Fire and water show the two forces inside of me which influence me and my creativity. They are also a metaphor for two most important persons in my life. The ashes were created from the contrast of the two forces. They show the bad times in my life which helped me to free my emotions and my creativity. The poem "Der Panther" by R.M.Rilke symbolizes the arts of others that influence me. In a certain way it`s about myself and is significant for me (have a look at the cat`s eyes). The phoenix stands for the creativity coming from the ashes of my life. It`s wings will become mine and the book it carries is the one I will write someday. It`ll be written with the blood of my heart. On top there will be nothing but clearness.
