This is a digital artwork using Photoshop. The student has created an imagined space landscape by scanning their drawn cartoon character into the computer and then appropriating traditional Aboriginal Wandjina figures from Karen Casey's artwork "Eternal Vigil", and other images from a variety of sources. Experimenting with Photoshop filters and effects gave some interesting, sometimes unexpected results. |
