This collaborative painting was completed in Spring 2009 for a performance. Children were to sing the Bluegrass songs featured on the soundtrack of the movie "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou." First grade students did drawings based on their visual interpretations of "Big Rock Candy Mountain." The drawings were then collaged and painted in a banner/mural which served to illustrate the songs for the audience. |
