The Great Art Quest is a national arts project designed by The Prince's Foundation for Children & the Arts. In 2010 the project linked 4 UK galleries and 16 primary schools, introducing around 500 children age 9-11 to visual art, brought to life through Storytelling. Participating galleries were Ormeau Baths Gallery in Belfast, Oriel Davies Gallery in Powys, Tate Liverpool and the Saatchi Gallery in London. The project was sponsored by GAM and managed by Emma Blanskby from The Prince's Foundation for Children & the Arts.

The storyteller for the Saatchi Gallery was June Peters and the artist was Ashley Davies. The following schools took part in the Great Art Quest at the Saatchi Gallery in London: Churchill Gardens Community Primary School, St Thomas' CE Primary School, St Vincent de Paul Primary School and St Mary Magdalene Primary School. Students from these schools visited the gallery and created their own art in response to works on exhibition by artists Maurizio Anzeri, Tessa Farmer, Dan Perfect and Anthea Hamilton. An exhibition of works created by students opened at the Saatchi Gallery on 25th January 2011 for ten days. Artists Tessa Farmer, Dan Perfect and Maurizio Anzeri were present at the opening to meet the participating children and see their art.
