Hanging dead pig

This sculpture, inspired by the works of artist Ron Muek, is a life size dead pigconstructed in chicken wire and modroc then painted in acrylics with a colour palette inspired by the flesh painting by Jenny Saville. The student visited the local butchers to do drawings and photographs aswell as casting from a real pigs head. She used food to coat the surface of the sculpture to create a decaying effect. |
