Dimensions: Height - 64cm, Width - 40cm, Depth - 25cm
This mixed media torso's outer shell is made from plaster and sand, whilst the organs are made from plastics and wire. This is to represent the contrast between the hard surface people portray and the delicate and fragile part that is under the skin but also often fake and surgically enhanced. This is to symbolize plastic surgery and the mechanical procedure that people are prepared to go through to gain a aesetically pleasing appearance.
