My initial thoughts for this piece were on incorporating sound and music into art. Being a slight traditionalist I initially thought of classical sounds for the basis of the piece. Research into this bought interests into natural music and following a trip into the countryside I became concerned with birdsong, aspects of silence and the eariness of nature. I also wanted to imply the best of human nature, how peaceful one can be in solitude, how innocence and peace can present itself even in the darkest of times. |
