The ideas for this painting began by considering a childs imagination. I looked at childrens colouring books featuring pirates and cartoon characters. To add to the sense of mystery and imagination I began experimenting with shapes lines and colours which hide the true identity of the characters in the painting. The painting consists of acrylic paint, gloss and spray paint. |
