Artwork Description:

Traffic, was inspired by a film that I watched recently depicting the plight of young girls taken and used in the sex trade. The smudged mascara and the slight bruising of the mouth are evidence of recent capture. The victim inspires in the viewer compassion or lust, and sometimes a combination of the two. Is she victim or player? Do you want to release her, or rape her?
