Looking like something hatching out of an egg, I think this would hold a fascination for my imagined people of the future. After all, eggs hold a great significance to people all over the world now and that's not just about Easter but more closely linked to new life and the cycle of life...rather important to a post apocalyptic population!
I thought it would be amusing to "coincidentally" combine a couple of sporting relics mostly based on their colour and materiality. It somehow looks as though they belong together. And a rusty nut as a support...well that just makes sense!
