Ive always had a keen interest in photography, but for years, to me, it just seemed like something to do, say on a trip or at an event, i never considered it to be my line of work. Now im constantly photographing, my main interest being things which many may not get the chance to see, or places that are soon to be non-existent. Places of history, places with a story to tell, trying to make an image that provides you with that little bit extra. An image that provides you with facts but not sure what too, an image that tells a story but unsure what about.
I also like to experiment in these places, say with portraiture as i think this type of scenery is far more interesting than just a backdrop. I leave my work open to personal interpretation, as that is what i think photography, this way of seeing, is all about. I hope you can enjoy the work, be good to hear back from you.
