Any mass-produced Hollywood shit. All these really annoying computer-animated movies about a bunch of cutesy talking animals. Shrek was a merciful departure from all that - because it was actually very funny, tongue-in-cheek, adult humour which is more than can be said for these appalling \'family friendly\', Disney/Pixar horrors. I hate being forced to watch them by lame people/room-mates...Also this whole tough guy/criminal underworld flick thing in the vein of \'Snatch\' is getting pretty tired. I\'m sick of seeing cockneys depicted as a bunch of cackling torturing bastards...\'Cause they\'re not. |

Funnily I find Salman Rushdie a bit hard to read, maybe because he\'s so far up his own arse - I don\'t know...Martin Amis is kind of along the same lines. Getting a bit sick of Nick Hornby as well - life\'s just not that straightforward you know Nick, although you have written some pretty funny books!
Anyway it\'s a bit hard to say what my least favourite books are because I don\'t tend to read from cover to cover books that I\'m not enjoying, so it\'s a bit of a Catch-22...Damn I must read that sometime! |

I really do hate TV. (I only watch C4 News plus assorted interesting documentaries but the rest is just trivial garbage designed to fuck your head up and waste your time, you can even say that about the news most of the time too, all these things happening all over the world that almost certainly have nothing to do with you and if they did you wouldn\'t be able to do anything about them anyway - you could try to donate your time money or effort to good causes but in the end, the world has got WAY more problems than you can handle and no one can carry the weight of the world, it\'s just unnatural. All you can really do is to be as decent a person as you can be). |

Dubuffet...
Hi, I really can't say thank you enough for the comments. Seeing as this is the first time others have seen my work, to get a compliment is great :D From browsing through other's works, I can immediately tell my art work is very 'young'.
The real problem I have, is drawing from imagination. - I'm assuming (from looking at your work) you do this. Because basically every single one of my drawings are all observational. The boy chewing gum - magazine, The dancers - a photograph. The only piece which I did myself was 'Bug City'! And if it weren't for the colours, it wouldn't be worthy. Have you got any tips as to how to overcome my problem?
Anyway, my favourite piece of yours has to be Dubuffet. What was your picture about? I love the bright colours, and having has experience myself, I know how much of a PAIN oils can be. Mind you though...I was probably doing it all wrong.
