In a way my artworks are physical manifestations of thoughts ending up in theoretical paradoxes. In my opinion modern art rely on a understanding of all of that which we can never comprehend. Wherever we go or search the complexity of reality always is exactly as deep as we choose to dig. For me, however, everything always seems to end up in eighter paradoxes or relativity - which perhaps is the same. Thus I allways end up concluding that we are completely on our own here. No God and no fixed purposes. Therefore - for me! - art has become a way of living - being synonymous with the sentence 'searching' (and I haven't found much so far except love (which perhaps is everything!?))Thus there's no such thing as a straightforward motion towards a distant, universal goal - not in art, not in life. Never the less art serves and should serve - being synonymous with a free, human mind - as a guideline and transgressive medium for everything that we do. Art has to question the known and search beyond the known to make us know more. Why? - Because the world is more beautiful when we understand its paradoxical core; that it can not be comprehended.
