From Michelangelo to Rubens to Rembrandt to A. Wyeth to Robert Beverly Hale, et al, from my contemporary teachers Michael Burban and Ben Long, I am taking my lessons. I dare to attempt "standing upon the shoulder's of giants" on my journey to become a draftsman in the most noble defintion of that title; not to "dance with some Renaissance mummy" but rather, to learn something of the ancient lessons, techniques, and materials to see where they may lead me-us into the future.
