A few terms and phenomena are of the key importance for explanation of this cycle: fragment, overlapping, raster, remix and absurd. These phenomena are translated from their multiple referential fields into pure visual space bringing along the layers of their memory as substance for a new environment, painting.
To split up the space /pictorial, musical, sculptural or architectural/ means producing a conflict in a system that was previously linear and continuous. This one shapes up in various places, provoking a rhythmic interruption. It can be located in the chink formed between two fragments, it is then a vacuum or a silence; it can be also found in the visual field of the fragment itself and split up the internal space by resorting to the stammering, reverberation, echo, or chaining of a similar movement in the same pictorial motive seen under various angles. This rhythmic interruption has, against all odds, an aim to establish the story, the speech. Here the speech of the images is established from all impossible combinations made by “mistake”; it is getting new strength that derives absurd.
