"I tried to visually translate the very particular one and mysterious expensive operating mode to the dyslexiacs. Welcome in a world of dream and strange... " With its new series "Dyslexic Paintings" exposed to the Astoria Hotel, Virginie L’Herbette proposes a new, shifted and enigmatic visual thought to us. Beyond the inversions and other drifts of language, the dyslexia can be perceived like a gift, another way of seeing the world and of expressing it. Telescopic thought, ellipses and sibylline logic then become an invitation with a beautiful voyage in the country of Dys. As in a tale, it is populated secret beings and one nothing savage but revealing itself little by little as soon as one shows the desire to enter their world. With a great prevalence of the white like discussion thread between disparate element-signs, its paintings are presented in the form of dreams, kinds of rebus that each one can perceive according to its own interpretation.
