I am interested in the possibilities that are born when one moves within different artistic mediums in order to express an idea and give shape to a narrative that employs all the actual and linguistic possibilities that are present.
I do not believe in a singular or definitive theory of art, or of life. I believe in the ever-changing energetic flows that continuously alter in intensity and sensibility, much in the same way societal and artistic tendencies tend to shift and change throughout history.
I feel that to be an artist in the twenty-first century is to abandon the role of creator, in order to utilize available means and mediums to express an idea in artistic terms. Today a work art does not rely on creation but on the inherent and distinguishing artistic characteristics the work of art employs to make a fresh and lingering statement.
