Leila Bibizadeh
University Of East London
MY WEBSITE ADDRESS: www.iwantthatpainting.co.uk
I am an exciting and original artist who studied at Chelsea College of Art and Design for a year for my Foundation course, and then went on to complete a Fine Art degree at the University of East London.
I create colourful abstract paintings, which I would describe as bursts of energy, exploring new and exciting ways of applying paint. I find endless inspiration from the natural world, which infuses my imagination with vibrant colours and unique shapes.
The painting process for my abstract work is often quick, working mostly in oil I am able to produce large pieces within a few hours. I will have a rough idea of how I want a painting to look before I start, but once I stand in front of a canvas I feel like my mind is free and my hand is let loose to create a beautiful explosion of colour that is filled with emotion and drama.
On the other hand, I have a great eye for intricate detail and can produce high quality observational work, specializing in portraits of people and animals. Through my animal portraits in particular, I hope to celebrate their unique and individual qualities. In doing so, I feel I am contributing towards making people more aware of all the amazing creatures ...

Anthony Boni <anthonyb> The contrast between different paint mediums in some of your abstract pieces is really nice. It adds a lot of depth.
I've considered using oil and acrylic together in paintings but have yet to experiment with that (I'm usually too lazy to clean up oil paint :P)...
Have you found any specific limitations in working with that combination/do you work with both types of paint while they're still wet, or let the layers dry separately? |

Jeffrey Sama <Jeffster07> Hi there. I really enjoy Rainbow Rainfall. You seem to be unafraid of color and its many effects. I think if there was some way to explore color with that same spirit in the portraits you love to do, your work could be very strong. |
