Our emotions shape our life helping us give meaning to our very existence. Emotions are a means of such a language that projects our conscious and helps communicate ones thought process. My artwork has always aspired to make my emotional experiences the focal point.
The aim of my artwork has been to produce works of high emotional intensity that allows audiences to re-call their own experiences and memories. It has been equally important to create works that allow me to discover myself work and to act therapeutically to ease the pain thus paralyzing my fears through multi-faceted exploration. My work has been focused around Installations and the use of performance to convey my concerns. Through this mechanism I am able to use sound, expression, and movement. To me performance is the most complete form of art, it includes all dimensions of space-time, language, visual art, often incorporates music and dance. It uses human beings as the primary instrument of expression in the wholeness of our bodies, imagination, emotions, mind, and spirit.
