As an independent artist I am restricted by a disability to the use of one arm/hand. I have persuaded myself that it would be good to work to my main strength which is painting.
For me painting is a passion. - It is about creating something that will live on.
I am also inspired by the abstract expressionists- particularly Willem de Kooning and Jackson Pollock.

Hi Martin.
Thankyou for your lovely comment. I love pastels more than anything but at art school it was a case of choosing painting,sculpture or printmaking. Pastels were to be rules out. Anyway I love working with them and I am free to continue.
