your work has that stunning quality, but i ask you, do you feel you bask in the realm of aesthetics, do you think your dada soul just likes pretty colors or shapes? or you said you make art with your brain, half of a shame, sometimes good sometimes bad. you like francis bacon, i do too, he 'strikes the nervous system' with an uncanny, new take on the human condition, he reinvents the human form, it can be no other but his own self, soul, etc. but we live in a postmodern society, what can u expect, thats over and done with now, your paintings are remarkable if you see it in that spectrum. i am moving to germany in a month or so. |
