I was born in Stockton on Tees in 1977, but moved to Scotland aged 7. My mother, also an artist, has given me a background in art in most mediums, and indulged me in almost anything creative I wanted to undertake. |

| 关于此艺术家 | |
I had difficulty at school using paints, but no problems with pencils, and so my art teacher gave me soft pastels to use, and I have used them almost ever since. I have recently branched out into acrylics, but am still learning to use them with proficiency. I love drawing people, mainly, but find I have to be inspired by a picture before I can do it justice. I have drawn children from Africa using pictures from World Vision, and another of a child in Kosovo just after the Balkans war. I have recently developed a passion for flowers, but mainly in close up format, as I find these less conventional. I also love big cats, and have drawn several of these, although mainly Tigers - my favourite. |

| I went through all 6 years of secondary school before starting University. However, I discovered it wasn't for me, and two years later went to college in Redditch to train to be a make-up artists, something I immensely enjoyed doing. I now work as a Web Developer/Graphic Artist. I have exhibited only in the North East of Scotland, where I live, but love to expand further. | |
