Estonian artist, Kristiana Parn(b.1979) launched her art education at 17. Kris studied painting and drawing with an Estonian painter Marje Berlokko. After graduating she came to United States to continue her studies at the School of Visual Arts as an illustrator. Today Kristiana lives and works in Brooklyn at her studio where she continues to make illustrations. Parn's work is bought and held by private collectors in New York, Russia, Germany and her native Estonia.

Sept 30 - Oct 22 2006 EXPERIMENTATION
At the Art Show, 300 BWAC artists will showcase their best work, each artist acting as their own curator. Having the artist choose from their own work injects freshness and variety into an exhibition not found at most gallery shows. BWAC prides itself as allowing the artists to fully express their own voices without the burdens of a curator or salesperson choosing work based on salability or personal preference.

The BWAC exhibition space is located at 499 Van Brunt Street, Red Hook, Brooklyn, in the pre-Civil War warehouse overlooking the Statue of Liberty. The gallery is open on weekends only during the time of our scheduled art shows.

76. Chambers St. bet Broadway and Church St. New York City. Open weekdays from 8AM - 6PM. Nice selection of most recent works. Some of them so new that aren't on the site yet. It is also the only place around Tribeca area for good coffee and H&H bagels.
April 8. 2006 Opening Day of Preview in DUMBO
LAND Gallery, 67 Front Street, Brooklyn, NY, USA. 1 to 5PM. Open weekends through April 30th. Opening Reception: April 8, 12 to 8PM.
Transformations will have a preview show at the LAND Gallery in DUMBO. The LAND organization — League Artists Natural Design — is a highly specialized studio art program offering working facilities five days a week and providing dialog between artists, curators, writers, collectors and arts organizations interested in social change. LAND is the latest program offered by the League Treatment Center, a non-profit organization providing progressive educational service to children and adults with autism and developmental disabilities from the New York Area. The gallery is located at 67 Front St.
