Twenty odd years ago I was born in California to Colombian and British parents. My upbringing was spent living and going to school in Geneva, Switerland. After several years, I moved to London where I have studied Law and decided to remain since. |

My aim is to strike a balance between strict clean lines and fluid movement. This interest has brought me towards perspective drawing. I recreate the buildings I see by looking at architectural plans. To insert the movement of people into the page I seek insipration from artists such as Matisse or the sculptures of Giacometti. In an attempt to introduce humour and wit into my work, I have sought inspiration from mathematical artists such as Escher. All in all, I have sought to create a new graphic style that is clean but at the same time thought provoking. |
