A simple drawing, as a rule, is a reminiscent of bearing banners or extraction of minerals in surface mining. It is like an expedition with its aim and a planned route… or it is like an ice breaker, or an orchard designed in a geometrical shape…
Graphic printing (for us) is more like a journey WITHOUT any GOALS… (Have Trees, Music or Constellations got any Goals!?..) All the more unpredictable wonders and discoveries, when the printing press is between our hands and the printing works, occur to be a mediator of breathing as a string, shaman's membrane, and it occurs in the middle, as a heart?!..
We are closer to the practice of Friendship/Relative relationship of the ENVIRONMENT OF APPEREANCE, where there are no more important or less significant values, where all the participants are of equal worth.
All that we are engaged in is an ATTEMPT NOT TO DISTURB THE Universe with its presence. We are enough of CONFIDENTIAL RELATIONSHIP. We are enough of CERTAIN CONDITIONS (paper, paint, shapes)… and It comes / It happens.
It is sometimes complicated to give Name to That. An Incomprehensible Now and Then. The Field and the Place, where does it come from?.. and we like to be astonished.
In any case we are glad that Each new Work is Free from Our Dictate and Imposed Will.
We are Satisfied that we have ONLY made the Energy possible to manifest itself in the form of engraving
and in any other FORM OF LIFE NOT BEING ATTACHED neither to the technique nor to the methods OF THE MOTION!
