I was born in New York City and have lived here all of my life. I am a self-taught artist. In addition to creating collages and drawings, I am a four-time award-winning fiction writer, a drummer (djembe), a published poet and photographer and have had minor roles in two movies--one made-for-television. To sum myself up, I'd say that I was a multi-dimensional being fully EX-PRESSING! |

I view my own work as very political. I believe the role of an artist is to provoke the viewer; to take people out of the "humdrumness" and death-walk of everyday life and raise consciousness. We are instigators of human evolution and "Bringers of the Dawn." |
