Kaja Segvic

|
My name is Kaja Segvic. I was born in Split, Croatia, on the 11th January 1974.
My great wish as an author of the paintings and books is to express the joy of Creation itself, in all its expressive forms, and to share it with all the viewers/readers of my work..
I really hope you will enjoy it!

About the Artist
My spiritual and life path was that of knowledge. I am a mathematician and I was learning all there was to learn from the science about the meaning of life. Although it might sound there is not much to learn from logic alone about the ways of the heart, it turned out not to be so. Inside mathematics and logic, there is a proof that the logic itself must be overcome and abandoned in order to find the truth that is behind all things. So i did that, and experienced the unity of all things from my own experience.
Later I wrote a book about the meaning of life, mathematics, with the directions of how the unity can be experienced first hand. it is called "The Game theory or Is There an End?", 'cause in the end turned out life is just a game we are playing here together.
I published two more books of poetry: "Come, let the Time breaks!" (2004) and "Trees above us know why they are laughing" (2006).
After realizing the speed of modern life leaves people with so less time that the reading procces becomes almost mission imposible, I started to paint and thus presenting my knowledge of life and Creation in the hearts of my paintings..

Education and biography
From my early age, I was interested in the arts and mathematics, so as in exploring the questions of life and its meaning, resulting in my intense enquery about the purpose of our living and the reasons why the nature and the Universe itself exist. The whole process of searching for those answers started at my age of 3, only to be conluded in my 27th year of life and after becoming the Engineer of mathematics on the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia in the year 1999.
After the graduation, I worked as a computer programmer and at the same time wrote my first book, called the "Game Theory or Is there an End?" (published 2004. in Croatia), connecting my own unique expirience of unity of all things to the science and different spiritual theories about the way and reason Universe was created. The book is intended to be a guidance to everyone looking for a way to find a meaning and the purpose of his own life, so as to make it easier and more fun, realizing this life is nothing but the game intended to make us discover our true nature of the loving, omnipotent and creative beings (hence the title of the book "Game Theory or Is There an End?").
I also worked as a profesor on the University of Practical Computing Sciences in Split, for three years (2003-2006.), where I got a title of Lecturer in the field of Computer Sciences.
