Born 1957, Kingston, New York, USA

I am an artist who’s style is reminiscent of the abstract expressionist of the 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s with a twist. I have a passion for the Fauve Movement of the turn of the 20th century particularly those works created by Matisse, Derain, Braque and Vlaminck. Through my extensive study of these great artists and those of the French Impressionism and French and New York Modern periods, I have been working on developing my own unique style. I enjoy working both on location and in the studio and experimenting with color, brush, and painting knife work in order to create vibrant and exciting works of art. I continue to work to bring abstract expressionism and fauvism together to create explosive imagery of color, shape, perspective and joy to his new creations. I term myself an “Abstract Fauvist”, and I hope you will enjoy my works and creative vision. My work is displayed in various galleries, private and corporate collections throughout Texas.
