Daniel DeNapoli, born in the Bronx,
New York City.
A Picasso print “The Actor” inspired him as a child. At 18 he won the prestigious “Alexander Medal”, along with a fine Arts Diploma and a partial scholarship. He attended The School of Visual Arts, N.Y.C., earned a BFA. He also studied at
The Arts Students League of New York City with such renown artists as Anita Steckell, Ephrain Rubinstein, Jack Aragasso. Daniel won many competitions in the U.S.A. and Europe. The Kean Masson Gallery on West 57th Street exhibited his paintings in several group shows in the 80’s.
International art/film critic, Joseph Courevele, wrote, “Daniel’s paintings are like a pop hit; you can’t get that painting image out of your mind; and when you least expect it... it surfaces to dance again year after year”. Steven Pressfield writer of “The War of Art, Winning of "Inner Creative Battle”, says ” Daniel has a burning passion for his Art, a fearless artist of our time...a true warrior...
not afraid to paint the dark side or what his heart feels and his eyes see...the Van Gogh of our time...
he walks with their spirit, emotion, loss... and paints the human condition with the same determination and passion”. “Life, love and death”... is his road map to creativity.
Daniels present work is derived from living in New York City and traveling around the world in search of his next new canvas and rare vision to express. He believes art can change the “Human Condition” and the consciousness of all humans. Daniel believes all art is a labor of love...and believes we are all a work in progress on this small rock floating in space.

An oil painter. I believe my work is appropriate for your gallery and would complement the artist you already represent.
My paintings explore the domain of the mystical and the natural world. Most often my
paintings are landscapes and city scapes. My work is inspired from living in New York City my entire life, and traveling to many Caribbean Islands.
A sample of the galleries I’ve had group exhibitions in, The Kean Masson Gallery, West 57th St, New York, The Amsterdam Whitney Gallery, Chelsea, New York, The Leahy Gallery, Scarsdale, New York.
My work is included in many corporate collections, Pepsico, IBM, Monsanto, Microsoft, etc.

• Directed major events, ie: Rock concerts, Original movies, Original programming. Directing all print for entertainment, consumer and trade advertising.
• Developed design for movie Posters, Business to Business print, Direct & Promotional communications for H.B.O, Cinemax & TVKO. & H.B.O for kids.
• Created HBO’s - TVKO as the HBO Boxing Channel, which grew HBO revenue from $5 million to $50 million by (targeting new sports boxing) markets.
