As a teenager I did caricaturing for newspapers and later did a short stint with an advertising firm. am a self taught artist. I enjoy making portraits and protest art. Through my work, I like to bring conversations without making work or the subject titillating. |

| I have used the eyes of Richard Nixon repetitively to create an illusion of a spine. Nixon was a spineless man but had his neural network to gather information. What Nixon did is ironically very acceptable in politics, business and journalism today. |

| I have no formal training in art. I took up painting seriously after many year in January 2005. I have had a solo show in Delhi in November 2005. In the summer of 2006, I have participated in independent artist run galleries and in art fairs in Anapolis, Cleveland, Columbus and Chicago in the USA. In March 2008, I showed one work at Raphael in Delhi, a show curated by Himanshu Verma for Red Earth; and in April 2008 at Travancore Gallery, Delhi in an group exhibition titled "Fresh Paint". | |
