Steve Farr is an emerging and, for the most part, self-taught artist from Chicago whose unique style has set him apart from others. He has been drawing and painting since the age of five. Steve's propensity to manipulate colors as well as desire to be different could be seen as a child. Where most children would use a coloring book to color, Steve saw it as an opportunity to not only create texture and patterns, but to take what was there and create his own designs. |

| I love trees and I love painting them! I created this painting for my best friend, Rita. She says my trees look like "people dancing." Cranberry Forest came from a dream I had about a very inviting forest full of one color!! |

| "Darkness peeks through the shadowy mist....... Night now upon us, One glimpse of light reflects from this....... These little crowns of black emerge from the background bringing my tears....... The silence of the night rocks with the wind falling on deaf ears....... Quietly within my soul I begin to make sense of it all....... Everyone carries some pain, no matter how small..... | "Do you dream, of the purple stream......running silent, frequently unseen! In my dreams, that constant flow......its destination, I don't know......Maybe toward a lavender lake, or does it pour into a vast violet sea......Just as the air, this water runs free!......Through such a secluded forest, this sparkling brook, one day I'll follow it, and take a closer look......'til then, I'll just dream of this purple stream."_______Steve Farr |

| Steve attended The International Academy of Design and Technology as well as Columbia College in Chicago. As a freelance designer he has been commisioned to work on numerous projects. Farr*Art is his self started graphic art & logo design company created Steve in 2004. |
