| This is one of several digitally manipulated color images from an original oil/alkyd painting. I call these TRANSPAINTINGS because they involve a transfer process from human painting to machine manipulation and back to a finishing process by human hands. An original painting is scanned, digitized, manipulated by software, printed by an archival ink jet printer on canvas, and further enhanced by hand painting.
