My work involves developing sculptural pieces that incorporate texture and organic forms. I strive to create shapes that have the power to move the viewer emotionally and visually.Living in a high-tech society such as ours...is is difficult for us as a people to maintain a spiritual connectedness with our beginnings...working in sculpture gives me an opportunity to explore forms that have a relevance to our surroundings. Past cultures have contributed so much visually and spiritually...we must continue that journey. |
