| About the Artist | |
Colour pencils are my favourite. Looks and magic realism attract me. I enjoy the possibility of meditation this material offers as I work. I share Lin Yutang’s opinion that: “Art is simultaneously creation and re-creation”. Of these two, the one I prefer is the idea of art as re-creation or as pure game of the human spirit. Although I appreciate all forms of immortal creative work, be it in painting, in architecture or in literature, I think the true art spirit will spread and penetrate deeper into society only when a lot of people can enjoy art as pastime… with no desire to reach immortality.. |

| I am a self-taught artist and have been working as such for several titles as for example La Alborada Editorial in Brazilia (Brazil) In the Córdoba Bank Museum,in the Province of Córdoba (Arg.), some of my portraits have been on permanent exhibition since 2003. From 2008 onwards, I started to participate in exhibitions and contests, having been involved in the following events so far: - The Collective Exhibition in San Antonio de Areco, Gallery of Nations - 3rd Prize at the Braque Gallery Anniversary Exhibit - Honourable Mention at the Latin-American Artists Exhibit 2008, Artexpressión Gallery - 2nd Prize at the IX Biannial of the Gallery of Nations - Honourable Mention at the Braque Gallery Autumn Exhibit - Participation in the Comic Art 2008 in Guayaquil - Participation with illustrations in the Buzzi News Portal - Participation in the Comics Collective of the Catholic University of Guayaquil - Mention at the X Art on Paper Exhibition, Buenos Aires, 2008 - 1st Prize Encuentrarte 2009 - Sellected by the Argentinean Society of Plastic Artists (SAAP – Sociedade de Artistas Plasticos de Argentina) to participate in the Autumn Exhibit of the Museum of the Rómulo Raggio Foundation. -Participation at the Latin-American Artists Exhibit 2009, Artexpressión Gallery -Honourable Mention at the A Singular Creation: Art Shadow Contest: "People" Nov. 2009- (USA) - Soy autodidacta y me desempeñé como dibujante en varias editoriales, entre ellas la Editorial Alborada en la ciudad de Brasilia (Brasil). En el Museo del Banco de la Provincia de Córdoba se encuentran algunos de mis retratos en exposición permanente desde el año 2003.
