| About the Artist |
I write and illustrate my own range of children's books which are yet to be published. I also work as a freelance designer producing 3D graphics and icons for various clients.
I am inspired by everything around me but my work with children has lent my imagery a colourful simplicity and I love the 3D work of Pixar and Blue Sky. |

Chopwith Orange
2006 3D Computer Graphics 108cm x 143cm (relative to pixel size) |
|
One of a series of images which parody classic film posters substituting the actor with a generic character; in this case-a pig. While this is a bit of fun it does represents the desire in us all to appear as a star in a big movie. |
Lily in the snow
2004 3D Computer graphics 143 x 100 cm (relative to pixel size) |
|
An image created as an alternative Christmas Card and to remind us that it is not all tinsel and christmas lights for everyone at that seasonal time of year. |
Porkenstein
2006 3D Computer Graphics 110x143cm (relative pixel size) |
|
As the pig becomes used more and more, he himself ceases to become a generic character and eventually becomes a star himself. Another homage to a classic movie with a porcine theme. |
Starpig Troopers
2006 3D Computer Graphics 110x143cm (relative to pixel size) |
|
Another parody of a well known film poster with the challenge being to recreate the original image while replacing the main character with a pig. Humorous it may be but also slightly sinister and surreal as we see an army of pig soldiers fighting the alien horde. |
Monsters Oink
2006 3D Computer Graphics 110x143cm (relative to pixel size) |
|
Continuing the movie theme and the modern day preoccupation with cinema, another homage to a well known movie but with the main character replaced by a pig. The pig eventually becomes more recognisable than the original character. |
Superham
2006 3D Computer Graphics 110x143cm (relative to pixel size) |
|
It looks like a familiar film poster but it has a pig, in a Superman suit. More surreal film parody. |
Lily at the door
2004 3D Computer graphics 143x100cm (relative to pixel size) |
|
A companion piece to Lily in the snow. |
