| Wackermann trained for three years at the Georg Westermann Printing Office in Braunschweig, West Germany, where he studied watercolor, pencil, pen and ink, crayon, tempera, gouache, lettering, and design. Building on this broad foundation, he attended the Graphic School, Bad Pyrmont, West Germany for two years, where he pursued additional studies in the aforementioned, plus photography, silkscreen, brush and ink, landscape, and composition. Four years of study at the Art Academy in Duesseldorf, West Germany followed, plus an additional year of study as a Master Student to gain certification as an Art Teacher. Mr. Wackermann has had shows in West Germany, France, Egypt, and Canada, as well as in Denver, San Diego, and Albuquerque. He has been affiliated with galleries in these places, and also in Scottsdale, Arizona; Los Angeles, California; Jackson, Wyoming; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Santa Fe and Taos, New Mexico. His work hangs in collections in Europe and North America. |
