| About the Artist | |
Inspiration comes from many places, the films of Greenaway, the writings of Kundera but inspiration and direction in it's purest form I have gleaned from the work of my students. After watching the many ways they approached academic drawing I often imitated and joined in the exploration of their particular approaches. |

| The Hilson Brothers store in Bovina New York was my muse through a number of works. Then the owners came and destroyed it's wonderful patina with a coat of fresh bright green paint. |

| I was educated at Birmingham and Manchester Colleges of Art. I taught at Moseley School of Art and for twenty years was in charge of the Joan Miro Centro de Arte at the Baleares International School, Palma de Mallorca.
