After completing her study at the Academy,Leny began searching for sources of inspiration and her own style.

At first she found inspiration in objects from her surroundings,resulting in series of still life paintings.Later she focussed more on her own imagination and perception.Traveling memorys, personal and global events and emotions are now the inspirationsource.Using images based on every day reality she tries to create a different reality,a different world; her world.

She likes the spectator to have a look in that world, a world wich sometimes has a strange feel about it..

Besides "story's" and "emotions" "portrets" are also a part of her works
