I see my photographs as slices of time, images to trigger memories. Sometimes an image comes out and I think 'did I really see that?" I am not sure I can previsualise but I am aware of making conscious decisions about what to frame and when to press the button. Previsualising seems to imply that you can see the end already, but that’s not always the case. I enjoy the elusiveness of photo images. I think I am chasing “the surface of life” and how photographic images can value nad question that. |

| I did a City & Guilds Photography Course in the early 90's as well as a couple of independent black and white courses since. I am largely self-taught but couple with an obsession with the medium means I have probably studied more than I did for my degree. | |
