This work centres on an imaginary character – a pessimistic projection of myself in the future – although not entirely void of humour. The character, initially placed against a plain coloured background, now inhabits a strange slightly retro domestic space. The drawn figure is placed in environments constructed through the use of material taken from the internet and photographs I have taken. The drawings have a very particular reality of their own.
