| Darla Jackson |
| |
Darla Jackson was born just outside of Philadelphia, PA in 1981. She recieved her BFA in Sculpture from Moore College of Art and Design. Since graduating she has been in numerous exhibitions, ran an alternative exhibition space and is now co-forming an all women's art collective.
 |
| |
| About the Artist |
Jackson's work primarily depicts figures and animals in a way that is meant to covey a very strong emotion to the viewer. Using certain elements of symbolism to create a duality of meaning in each piece, the viewer is left to question which meaning they identify with. |
