I was born in Russia in 1971 in the family of two college professors. By the age of twelve, I entered one of the leading Art Schools in Moscow where I had spent four years taking lessons from some most renown Russian artists. From 1989 to 1994, I attended the Art Department of the Moscow Teacher Training University where I earned Master in Art (the diploma in both in graphics and painting) as well as Master in Art Education.
Since then, I have been working as a freelance artist, an art teacher and art therapist. My works as well as works of my students received recognition through numerous exhibits in various Moscow Art Galleries. Teaching at the Moscow Premier School since 1997, I worked with children from 3 to 10 years old. I created class programs, taught arts and crafts, designed classrooms and halls and made decorations for school performances. In 2001, I became a first prize winner of a Teacher of the Year competition in Moscow. During the same year I received a prestigious George Soros award in the competition dedicated to the memory of Mother Teresa "Childhood without Violence and Cruelty". This prize was awarded for providing art therapy and painting lessons to terminally ill children.

In 2002, I made Chicago my permanent home where I am an actively exhibited freelance artist and teacher for both adults and kids. My paintings now belong to numerous private collections in US and abroad.
