Born in North Carolina, in 1964, Sally grew up in the Southeastern part of the United States. She now lives on the gulf Coast of Florida. |

Sally started her career as a graphic artist but soon became bored. A vacation to the deserts of the Southwestern United States, during the early 1990s introduced Sally to the area’s artists whose dramatic use of color stirred her soul. She then realized her life’s goal was to become a fulltime painter. She has been fulfilling her dream since then. |

| Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of South Carolina. Most recently Sally was awarded the prestigious H.K. Holbein Award in the Eighth Annual International Society of Acrylic Painters juried exhibition. Her painting "What's Up" took one of the top five prizes. Sally’s paintings have been exhibited in national juried shows, galleries and museums, all over the United States and her work is collected by a varied group of corporations including Tampa Bay Magazine, US Airways and Coca Cola. Currently US Airways features her paintings in the US Airways Club at Tampa International Airport. A painting was selected to be on display in the American Embassy in Rome, through the Art and Embassies Program. In 2000, Sally was selected as the featured artist for Art Harvest, a regional juried show in Dunedin, Florida. “Santa Fe Poppies” graced the cover of Tampa Bay Magazine in their September-October of 2002 issue, and she was the featured artist in their next issue. Sally’s work with charities is never ending. Working with the Outdoor Arts Foundation of Tampa Bay, Sally has participated in many events including the Tour of Turtles, Bow Wow Haus, and Chairs for Charity. Sally has also created works of art that have been featured on posters and tee-shirts for the Humane Society of Northern Pinellas County and The Humane Society of Tampa. Sally has signature memberships to The International Society of Acrylic Painters and Degas Pastel Society. |

| 19th Annual Las Olas Art Fair January 6th-7th 2007- Las Olas Sunset is the featured artwork for the 2007 posters and tee shirts. This beautiful original is an acrylic on canvas 30x36 and is still available for purchase. The show is held on trendy Las Olas Blvd. in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Show hours are 10am-5pm. The 56th Beaux Art Festival of the Arts -January 13th-14th 2007 – This wonderful art festival is held the grounds of the Lowe Art Museum at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida. Show hours are 10am-5pm. 6th Annual Wellington Art Festival January 27th-28th 2007 – this art festival is on Forest Hill Blvd. one mile west of HWY 441 behind the Hampton Inn. Show hours are 10-am-5pm. |
