I was born in San Francisco, Ca in 1966. In the mid 70's my family moved to central California. I attended high school in Salinas, CA and after graduating I returned to the bay area to work in the music industry. After 15 years of writing, recording and producing music I decided to explore other creative outlets. In 2003 I began experimenting with digital manipulation of photographs. Being self-taught, I have developed what I believe to be my own unique style – combining traditional photography, digital rendering, sculpture and puppetry to create my images. |

In my work I try to present everyday objects with a twist; an other-worldly, tragic and sometimes disturbing quality. I try to instill a sense of the supernatural without using overtly grotesque imagery. In my work I draw on symbolism including Jungian archetypes, folklore and modern urban ledgend. |
