Born in Barry, near Cardiff, Wales. I have been exhibiting and selling my work since the early 1990's and have also worked in Education, Theatre and Community Arts. I now run a gallery and continue to make art. |
| About the Artist | |
I have always made Art, but began to exhibit and sell work from about 1992. I have explored many art forms, including video, installation, sculpture, writing,theatre and music. All of these inform my work which is currently concerned with the physicality of painting; colour, form, texture...what only painting can do. My inspiration comes from many sources, but I paint for the alchemy that materials can create...to make new meanings. |

| Education and biography | |
| I have always practiced as an artist, but originally studied English and taught English, Drama and Art in London for several years. Recently I completed my formal Art training, graduating in 2003. I have exhibited in many shows, both in London and Wales, winning The Welsh Artist of the Year, (student award), in 2001 and being selected for The National Eisteddfod in 2002. | |
