Florida Gold

| Orange juice is the official state drink of Florida. Florida citrus growers advertised their “Florida Gold” in photographs of beauty queens on the beach with pirate's chest of oranges.
I constructed and shot this project on a beach in Rhode Island. A massive pirate's chest of oranges provided a backdrop for an idealized Florida. |
